Biography
TV journalist best known for hosting Thames TV's early-evening magazine Today for several years, and a certain on-air incident in 1976 (see trivia below).
Trivia
He had a reputation as a heavy drinker, which was to prove his undoing. On 1 December 1976, after a bit of a "session", he interviewed punk band The Sex Pistols on Today, goading them into swearing on TV. The incident made The Sex Pistols' career, but effectively ended Grundy's.
