A mechanical challenge show in the vein of [[Scrapheap Challenge]]. Two teams were given 10 hours to make a machine out of parts from two or more unrelated donor machines. The TV series consisted of fifteen half hour programmes. The presenters were Louise Brady and Martin Smith. The two teams of four battled it out to mutate their primary donor machines, such as motorbikes, scooters and cars into different working machines to compete against each other. The Mutant Machine achieving the better performance won. The series was shown on Sky Granada Men and Motors channel from January 5th 2004 until April 12th. Four episodes can be seen on YouTube: Episode 1. Piledriver, 2. Paint Sprayer, 3. Concrete Mixer, 7. Bail Lifter. The programmes were recorded in a barn with open doors between November and February which is why the presenters and team members were well wrapped up. Thus the early shows were being broadcast before all the programmes had been recorded.
