Biography
Motoring journalist noted for being "cute". He also presents Top Gear and is getting a reputation for fronting science-based entertainment shows, notably Sky One's Brainiac: Science Abuse and the 2005 one-off The Gunpowder Plot. In 2006, he sustained serious brain injury caused by driving a 300mph jet engine car off the runway on a York airfield but made a remarkable recovery.
