Biography

He become a TV warm-up man before getting his big break with a regular slot on the ITV variety show Live From The Palladium, which led to him getting his own show, This Way Up, followed by The Brian Conley Show. He has also turned his hand to acting, and following several sitcoms of variable quality (most memorably ITV's excellent 70's-set comedy 'The Grimleys', in which Conley played the sadistic games teacher, Doug Digby), he became a regular on the West End stage with starring roles in Me and My Girl, Jolson and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
