Synopsis
Announced in a blaze of publicity in October 2011, the press release says this show "will focus on a giant dating machine filled with single guys and girls hoping to be selected by the night's contestants. The Love Machine asks its contestants to pick a potential date on looks alone."
But wait, there's more. "Two couples will then go head to head and tackle the issues men and women confront on a first date but never normally dare to discuss - sex, money and fanciability. The winning couple will go on an incredible holiday for two - but not before one dastardly final twist that gives them the chance to ditch their date for a last-minute upgrade."
