Her quick-wittedness in TV and radio interviews led to a stint presenting C4's Planet Pop and thence on to her own XFM show, which she presented until April 2007. Latterly she presented BBC Two's arts programme, The Culture Show, and coverage of events such as the BRIT Awards. She's been a regular "jock" on Radio 6 Music since 2008.

She and her sometime CD:UK co-host Myleene Klass are godmothers to each other's children.
