Middlesbrough-born magician whose big break came in 2003 when he featured in Monkey Magic on Channel 5 (as it then was). More recently he's anchored a couple of game shows for children.
Not to be confused with the late Peter Firmin, who was the co-creator of various children's classics, which included 'Bagpuss', 'Ivor The Engine', 'Noggin The Nog' and 'Pogles' Wood'.
