Biography
Stand-up comic who enjoyed huge fame in the 1960s in a double-act with his older brother, Mike. Unfortunately the brothers fell out in the 1970s, and Bernie never really hit the same heights of success solo, though he is well-remembered for his choice of sidekick in the early 1980s - a St. Bernard dog called Schnorbitz. Bernie died in 1991 at the age of 58.
