Synopsis

Fiendish panel game asking Welsh speaking personalities to think about two things at the same time.

Four panelists, split into two teams, answer questions on a random specialist subject. The first letter of the eight answers in rounds one and three will spell out a ninth, bonus answer.

Mari and a 'Chwalu Pen' panel - have we introduced you to Gareth the orangutan before?

A one-word clue for the bonus answer is given to the panelists beforehand - something not always easy to remember when the affable Mari is filling time with a friendly chat before starting the round itself.

A head-to-head quick fire round fills the gap for round two.

Devisor

Llyr Huws (also producer)

Trivia

The title roughly translates as Brainstorming.

Recorded not before a live audience at Sain Studios, Llandwrog, near Caernarfon - initially a necessity due to Covid regulations. The audience-free format has stuck post-pandemic.

Llyr Ifans, who stood in for Mari on a three-week run in the first series, is Rhys Ifans' younger brother - they starred together as Julian and Jeremy in the cult 1997 film 'Twin Town'.
