Biography
Scottish comedian, making up 50% (in numbers) and 30% (in height) of the comedy legend that is The Two Ronnies where his monologues and repartee with partner Ronnie Barker are fondly remembered. In the early days, he was a regular on clever BBC comedy series such as The Frost Report and, er, Crackerjack. He also played repressed librarian Timothy Lumsden in the BBC sitcom Sorry! He now makes occasional guest appearances on TV, almost always on yet another bloomin' BAFTA tribute (which, ironically, is how he was originally paired up with Barker).
Trivia
His middle name is Balfour.
