Synopsis
In this entertainment series, real children compete against real cartoon characters for real prizes. Rounds include "Bang On or Bogus", "Same Sound Name Round", and "Hoo Flung Dog". The winning child competes in the "Quiz Champ Challenge" - ten questions in 90 seconds, but with a chance to trade in some time for correct answers half-way through.
The technical achievement in producing a mix of live-action children and animated cartoons is notable, as is the sense of controlled lunacy throughout the production.
Inventor
James Fox
Trivia
The 'Skatoony' brand (along with Chudd Chudders and The Earl) has been around on Cartoon Network since way back in 2000, but this is the first time it's been used for something other than a phone-in show.
