Synopsis
Children's quiz, part of TV-am's Saturday morning programme Splat. The slot was full of endless puns about breakfast and eggs.
Kids, grouped into two regional teams, sat under giant eggs answering questions. Each time you got a question right, there was a mechanised chicken that laid a small egg for you which rolled into a tube. Contestants were eliminated by the large eggs opening above their heads and feathers and rubber chickens would fall on top of them.
Prizes were breakfast-themed such as a wall clock bearing the picture of an egg cup.
