Synopsis
An after-dinner speakers' competition for celebrities such as Peter Cook, Spike Milligan, Auberon Waugh and Katherine Whitehorn.
In the first series, the programmes were themed around fictional awards such as 'Nice Guy of the Year Award' or 'Diplomat of the Year Award'. In the second series, which seems to have involved Ned Sherrin in a semi-regular role, all the shows were themed around something called 'The Vicious Circle Awards', whatever they are.
