Biography
Stockport-born actress who rose to fame playing Shelley Unwin in Coronation Street. Appears to have found a niche as a locum, having filled in for Warwick Davis on Tenable and Stephen Mulhern on The Big Quiz, and was the second ever Richardosman on Pointless. (We can't remember who was first.)

She's also had recurring roles in, among other things, Mount Pleasant, Still Open All Hours and Scott & Bailey, as well as having been a Loose Women panellist. More recently she's played the titular amateur detective in the Channel 5 hit The Madame Blanc Mysteries.
