Biography
Greenwich-born ventriloquist who started entertaining at 14 with a magic and impressions act. With the emergence of television, Ray introduced his famous puppet 'Lord Charles', an aristocratic dummy, into his act which debuted on the BBC variety show The Good Old Days. He presented some of his shows with his wife, Barbi.
