BBC Radio 4, 3 January to 7 February 1977 (6 episodes in 1 series)
Synopsis
Survival quiz in which two teams representing related trades (doctors vs nurses, lorry drivers vs taxi drivers, milkmen vs postmen, and so on) are asked questions about dealing with extreme situations, from rescuing someone from a river, to getting back to your spaceship in zero gravity. Each week there was a guest adventurer who would set some of the questions based on their own experience; in order these were Wally Herbert, Chay Blyth, Lt-Col John Blashford-Snell, Sebastian Snow, Sheila Scott and Richard Snailham.
Inventor
Susan Snailum, also the series' producer.
