Synopsis
Three strangers face a series of questions to win tens of thousands of pounds. They must unanimously agree on the same answer and "lock" the answer in. However for every second they deliberate, the prize money is reduced. At the end of the first round, which lasts for 5 questions, the team of 3 must decide inside 15 seconds whether or not to continue. If they choose to continue, they will then have to answer 4 questions in the second round, then three in the third round and so on.
A correct answer makes the lights around them turn green, a wrong answer is a mistake and the lights turn red. Each team is allowed to make three mistakes. If they make a mistake, their prize money is halved. On the third mistake, they go home with nothing.
When the group decide to stop, they must then play the jackpot round. The money that they had accumulated is split into three, unequal amounts. The time starts and they have 100 seconds to decide who gets what. They must decide between them who gets the largest amound, the middle amount and the smallest amound. This is where greed comes in as if they take too long, the money in each group goes down. The money freezes when all of the players agree on who goes home with what. However, if they don't agree within the 100 seconds, they all leave the game with nothing.
