Bridge of Lies
Synopsis
Basically Demon Square. A press release tells us:
- The Bridge of Lies (25×45’), which will be broadcast on weekday afternoons, promises both high drama and high stakes that will keep the contestants on their toes and their eyes on the prize as they risk losing it all with each step they take. It will see teams of contestants compete for cash by crossing a bridge made up of stepping stones across the studio floor. Each stepping stone has a different option, and the players must try to get from A to B by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies in order to cross the floor safely, or risk falling off the bridge and out of the game.
Can't help but feel like for a game show involving people trying to find things that are True they've gone for the wrong Kemp.
Catchphrases
Did you or did you not press the panic button?
It is a truth, that opens up…
That's a lie, you've halved your money.
Trivia
Aired at 4:30, presumably because - for its first week on air - Tipping Point was airing Best Ever Finals at 4pm, and was not airing a game show at 4:30. Coverage of the World Cup 2022 draw meant that episode fifteen couldn't air in its place, so they aired episode eleven at 4:45 the Saturday after episode ten, separated from the other game shows by Superman & Lois and the news.
