Biography
Born in County Durham in 1977, Matt Baker rose to fame as a presenter on Blue Peter (1999-2006) and his other major TV jobs have included Countryfile (2009 to present, including the annual One Man and His Dog competition) and The One Show (2011-20). Nowadays presents programmes about farming, mostly for the Channel 4 family. As a former child gymnast, he also commentates on gymnastics for the BBC.
