Biography
Glasgow-born comedian and presenter who got his big break in 2003 replacing Ant and Dec on SM:TV Live. His regular gig is hosting the breakfast show on Heart Scotland, but he's well-known to Scottish audiences for turning his hand to just about anything, from sports shows to dating shows, to topical quiz Breaking the News.
Somehow he also finds time to tour the world as a stand-up comedian, and if there's still anything left that he doesn't do... well, that goes into his BBC Scotland series Des Doesn't Do...; so he keeps himself busy one way or another.
