Synopsis
Clive Anderson asks a series of difficult, or downright impossible to answer questions to a panel of special guests, who must speculate on the answer.
Some of the questions are amusing in their own right: "What's the difference between Justin Bieber and a banana?" More regular fare, like "Why did the chicken cross the road" allowed guests to go off on a (hopefully) entertaining ramble. Often, this proved a triumph of hope over experience: critics noted that it was QI with a bit too much attention paid to right answers, and the house band tended to the annoying.
The programme was able to attract some high-profile names: the first series featured stars like Phill Jupitus, Rory Bremner, and Alex Horne. It was attractive to the UK-wide digital station Radio 4 Extra, where it was repeated in June and July 2012.
