Synopsis
Ingenious way to provide gameshow entertainment and link programmes together AT THE SAME TIME! King would be the host for the BBC's daytime schedule. Each day, a celebrity would come in and help two people (each located at their local BBC studio and playing by satellite) play a game.
Whoever did the best could win £1,000 if they could answer enough questions (memorably written 15 minutes before the show to maintain topicality) about the events written about in the day's papers within a minute (eight or ten, we think it was).
Theme music
We don't know, but BBC1 Daytime used a variation of its bouncy yet highly repetitive theme throughout most of the nineties.
