Biography
Peter Jones (1920-2000) was born at Wem in Shropshire, and started his theatre career at the age of 16. He was an accomplished radio, stage, and television actor, including roles in The Rag Trade and as The Book in the radio original of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Peter is best remembered as a regular panellist on Just a Minute; his dry wit and distinctive manner of speech made him a recognisable figure.
