Biography
Of Nigerian and Norwegian parentage, Richard was born in London and raised in Ipswich. He is a comedian and actor known for his socially awkward persona and for portraying Maurice Moss in Channel 4 sitcom The IT Crowd. He has also appeared in the BBC comedy The Mighty Boosh and has presented factual shows Travel Man and Gadget Man.
He has directed pop videos for Arctic Monkeys, Super Furry Animals, Kasabian and Radiohead, as well as a number of films including an adaptation of Dostoyevsky's The Double.
In 2017, he became the fourth Mazemaster of The Crystal Maze, wooden hand and all.
