Champion
Singer Jade Evans (now known as Jade West), who had been a finalist in Moon and Stars earlier that year. She went on to do rather well out of the Swiss version of Pop Idol by writing the title track for the winner's debut album.
Trivia
The ITC were particualarly critical of this and other HTV West entertainment shows - the words 'mediocre', 'disappointing', 'failed to draw substantial audiences', 'minimal resourcing for production' and 'criticised by the West of England Viewer Consultative Council' were bandied about in their annual programme review. And you thought ITV was having a tough time of it now!
