Synopsis
It's a new music show, with performances from hip and happening acts like Alunageorge! It's a classic music show, with performances from has-beens like Primal Scream! It's a quiz show, with musicians and comedians trying to establish whether 1995 was a better year for music than 2005!

Trivia
Recorded at the Brixton Electric, in front of a live audience.
Channel 4 broadcast two pilot programmes for new music-and-entertainment series in summer 2013; Smells Like Friday Night had been widely ignored on 21 June.
