Synopsis

Except it isn't, it's just another game show.

Pianist Bobby Crush hosts this rare ITV networked daytime quiz from TSW and asks three contestants a series of questions based on musicals.

We start off with the first round and it goes a little something like this, a sample of a song from a musical is played for about 15 seconds and then Bobby asks the contestants three questions based on that musical. Contestants then have to buzz in and attempt to say the answer, if the answer is correct they score a point, if it's wrong then the other two get a chance to buzz in and answer the question.

The second round is about finding connections, Bobby will asks the contestants two questions and then the third question asks what the connection is between the two answers to those two questions. Each question is on the buzzer again and the contestant who buzzes in first gets the chance to answer and a correct answer is again worth a point, the other two get a chance to buzz in and answer if the one that buzzes in first gets it wrong.

It's the celebrity round for the third one, the guest star is hidden behind the logo and two parts of the picture have already been uncovered, this round is a little different, that is to say a Telly Addicts-esque way as members of the public are asked to sing a song from a musical and then contestants are asked a question based on the clip they were shown, the contestant that buzzes in with a correct answer gets a point and the chance to guess who the guest star is behind the logo for another point, if they don't know who it is then another piece is removed and they would have to answer another question correctly to get another chance to guess who the guest star behind the logo is, then after whoever correctly guesses the guest star, a bonus question is asked about that celebrity and whoever buzzes in and answer correctly not only gains a point but also wins two complimentary tickets for a theatre show in their hometown.

We then have to say goodbye to the contestant who scored the least amount of points at the end of part one, but they don't go home empty handed because they get a specialised Sound Like Music framed poster with their name, fellow opponents on that edition of the show and the host's name on it as well.

Part two begins and the remaining two contestants who scored the highest amount of points start round four, there will be a series of three part questions from either a show or a person beginning with a hard part first and then slowly getting easy with each part. Each correct answer is worth a point.

The fifth round is a quickfire round where a series of rapid fire questions are set and contestants have to buzz in with an answer, one point if correct, goes to opponent if wrong for them to get a chance to answer correctly.

After the tune tells us that's the end of the round, we then have to say goodbye to the runner-up who not only goes home with a specialised framed poster, but also CDs, LPs and audio cassette tapes from the theatre shows of their choice.

The winner on the other hand goes on to the final round called the Fabulous Five Jackpot. Five song titles are shown on the board and the contestant then has 30 seconds to name the show that each song is from. Each correct answer wins them £50, getting them all right wins them £250 and a weekend in London and two tickets for a West End show of their choice.
