Synopsis
An unusual challenge from the interior designer: famous faces are asked to do something craft-based. Stars turn their old trash into treasure, learn skills, and show their hidden talents.
Channel 4's press release added:
- Every day two celebrities will go head to head to win Kirstie's craft trophy. At home, they'll be paired with a professional crafter, who will teach them to make three items, with surprising and sometimes brilliant, sometimes disastrous results!
- Then they'll travel to Kirstie's Craft HQ, the home of all things handmade, where our expert judges, professor of design and craft Polly Macpherson and designer Piyush Suri, will be pulling no punches. Finally, our two intrepid celebrities will face off in a 30-minute timed crafting challenge, under the watchful eye of Kirstie and the judges and without their professional crafters there to guide them. Will they remember what they've learned so far, or will they decide to go off piste? Along the way, Kirstie will be on hand to cheer our celebs on, offer tips, and lend a hand when the chips are down.
The winner gets a crafting cup.
