Bake Off is back (BBC1, Wed). So is last year's winner, on The Chronicles of Nadiya (BBC1, Wed). But also Bake Off An Extra Slice (BBC2, Fri).

Monday is a good day to launch new series. See: Think Tank (3) (BBC1), Debatable (BBC2), Make Me an Egghead (BBC2), and the short-run 500 Questions (ITV).

We've also the pilot Spotless (ITV, Sat), and some television coverage of existing Welsh culture competitions (S4C, all week).
