Biography
ATV continuity announcer who graduated on to presenting various factual programmes themed on murder, crime and such like, including the pre-Crimewatch show Police 5. His catchphrase (delivered with a pointing of the index finger) was Keep 'em peeled.
He died on 17 March 2015, aged 90.
Trivia
Although best known for Police 5, the show only existed in some regions. Despite this, Shaw still worked his socks off to present and produce Police 5 for LWT (London), Central (Midlands) and TVS (South and South East).
