Biography
Former amateur jockey who worked her way up from junior reporter on Radio 5 Live to become the BBC's premier host of horse racing and subsequently sport in general. The crowning moment of her career came in 2012 when she headed the presenting teams on both the Olympics for the BBC, and the Paralympics for Channel 4.
Outside of sport (and Saturday night light entertainment shows), she has done a lot of radio work, including Ramblings on Radio 4 and Good Morning Sunday on Radio 2.
She was appointed OBE in the 2013 Queen's Birthday Honours.
