That's What I Call Television
A new Saturday night prime-time show for ITV1.
Do you remember when Game For A Laugh ruled Saturday nights; Emmerdale Farm was on in the afternoons; competitors battled it out across the assault course on The Krypton Factor; Big Daddy wrestled Giant Haystacks on World Of Sport and you watched No. 73 on a Saturday morning in your pyjamas?
Fern Britton is presenting a number of primetime entertainment specials to be screened on ITV1 later this year, and she'll be joined by a different star host as they remember and celebrate with affection and humour the golden era of TV from 1979-1989.
That's What I Call Television will wallow in 80s nostalgia and take an affectionate look at the top TV shows and adverts of the time. Favourite shows will be brought back to life and there‘ll be plenty of reunions, surprises and celebrity guests!
And now you can get involved! Did you, or someone you know, appear on any iconic shows when you were younger? Did you ever act on Impulse or dance along with the Shake-N-Vac woman? Or did you just love to sing-a-long to TV theme tunes? What ever your memories, we'd love to hear from you.
