Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen
Biography
Born in Kensington, London in 1965, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen first came to public attention as a designer on the BBC's home make-over show Changing Rooms. Trivia
He and his wife Jackie are the biggest-winning celebrities on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, winning £500,000 for charity on a Valentine's Day special in 2006. They only won the money, however, after being offered a second £1,000,000 question - their first, "Translated from the Latin, what is the official motto of the United States?", had no correct answer as its official motto is not translated from Latin.
Every year since 2007, Laurence has created a number of tableaus and other features for the annual Blackpool Illuminations. In 2010, he was made Creative Director of the event.
