Synopsis
Fifteen men and women spend ten days in purpose-built pods where they can talk to each other through a speaker but not see each other. They can later choose to have longer dates and may extend a marriage proposal when one dater is ready.

Trivia
The original US version debuted in February 2020 and became a worldwide hit for Netflix, with other countries quickly following suit to release their versions on the streaming service. Brazil was the first to release their own series in October 2021 with a further three series following it. Japan was the second to air their series in February 2022 and even greenlit plans for a second series a month later before cancelling it in October. Sweden is the latest country to release their version in January 2024, the franchise's first to have only one host while the others had two. By July 2024, four more countries as well as the UK including Mexico, Argentina, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates have commissioned their versions that have yet to be released or even made.
