Public Opinion
Synopsis
Six celebrities, four words. Which celeb do the words best describe, according to a poll of 2000 members of the public? The words are revealed one at a time and the assembled celebs are questioned on whether or not they think the words apply to them personally. At the end they are all asked to guess which of the panellists is the one identified by the poll, and then the person's identity is revealed.
The guessing game is basically an excuse for Gyles Brandreth to confront the celebrities with potentially embarassing quotes and anecdotes, in which role he does very well, somehow managing to give them all a good ribbing without actually causing offence.
