TV Guide 2024-08-17

Jason Manford's back on television. The Answer Run comes to daytime BBC1, hammocked between new eps of Antiques Road Trip and Pointless.

Back on BBC1: The Hit List (Sat). Over on Channel 4, The Big Fat Quiz of Telly (Fri) is a pre-sport treat. Freeview viewers get to see the Never Mind the Buzzcocks revival (Sky Mix, Mon).

Not on your telly: Eurovision Young Musicians (youtube.com/eurovisionyoungmusicians, Sat). Not showing because the BBC's commitment to classical music stretches only as far as West Kensington, and not Bodø. Honestly, you wouldn't catch Alan Botney putting up with this.
