Biography
A native of Southampton, Scott Mills began presenting radio shows when he was just 16. His career took him to local stations in Bristol, Manchester, and London, before joining Radio 1 in 1998; he took up the drivetime slot in 2004, then moved to early afternoon in 2012 and remained there for another decade before moving over to Radio 2. He also presented the R1 Official Chart Show.
Scott has done much television work, including a stint alongside Lauren Laverne on Planet Pop in 2000. He's competed on Celebrity Mastermind, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, appeared as a mystery guest on Identity, and made cameo appearances on both Casualty and River City.
