The death has been announced of Dave Rainford, aged 51. He joined the Eggheads in 2012. Prior to this, he appeared as a contestant on Remote Control and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

Eurovision Song Contest
27 February BMG has decided
The United Kingdom's entry for the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest has been announced as My Last Breath, performed by James Newman, who co-wrote Ireland's 2017 entry. It is the first entry co-selected by BMG, who teamed up with the BBC following four years of selection by public vote.
