Founded in 1959 by Australian businessman Reg Grundy. It was bought by Pearson International (now FremantleMedia) in 1995 until 2006 when it was merged with Crackerjack Productions to form FremantleMedia Australia. However, the name Grundy still exists in Germany as Grundy Light Entertainment and in Italy as Grundy Productions Italy.
