Biography
Former child actor whose infectious enthusiasm has made him perfect for the 'vox pop hunter' on a huge number of shows over the years, from Noel Edmonds' Multi-coloured Swap Shop to The Big Breakfast. He appeared in the altogether, to much amusement or bemusement (your choice), on the naturist one-off Naked Jungle.
A lengthy battle with alcohol is reflected in the title of his autobiography - Shaken but not Stirred.
Trivia
In 1971, aged 14, he played Fleance in Roman Polanski's film adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth.
He is the brother of The Great British Quiz hostess and one-time 3-2-1 contestant, DJ Janice Long.
He was offered the job of hosting Supermarket Sweep but turned it down.
In 2001, he webcast a rolling show from his house at the (now defunct) cheggersbedroom.com.
