Coming up
- Kerwhizz - claimed to be the first quiz for children aged 4-6 (oh, I'm sure we could come up with a counterexample or two), this sees CGI characters competing for advantages in a final race. (Cbeebies, later this year)
- You've Got the Answer - Quiz meets hidden-camera show. Didn't Oblivious do something like this? Dale Winton hosts. (Channel TBA)
- One Wrong Move - Couples quiz with Mark Durden-Smith. (Channel TBA)
- Priceless - Price-guessing game with Jamie Theakston. (Channel 4)
- Mr & Mrs - yes, it looks like the all-star revival is absolutely definitely, probably quite likely possibly ON! And Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton are lined up to host. (ITV, around April 2008)
- The Kids Are All Right (formerly The Swot Team): John Barrowman hosts as contestants take on child prodigies in mental and physical challenges. (Endemol for BBC One)
- Eating With The Enemy - knockout contest for amateur chefs. James Martin is to be a "mentor". (RDF West for BBC)
- First and Last, a show where people compete to be as average as possible, ironically to be hosted by Justin Lee Collins. Wikipedia has a description of this format. (Endemol for Channel 4).
- Beat the Star - a German format apparently being "prepped" (as they say) for the British market, in which contestants take on the host in a series of games. A pilot has been made with Vernon Kay. (Diverse, ITV)
- Click City sends kids on a treasure hunt with mobile phones. (Lion TV, channel unknown)
- Space Pirates: virtual reality adventure game for children. (Lion TV, channel unknown)
- Best in Preschool: Lorraine Kelly and Dominic Wood test pre-schoolers on stuff. (ITV1, tbc)
- Tough Decisions, a comedy quiz with Patrick McGuinness (Objective for E4)
