Synopsis
Comic Relief fundraiser in which a mixture of celebrity solo acts, duos and groups recreate classic dance routines for your votes. Six acts each week, the winner of the public vote goes straight through to the final, and the three judges - head judge Anton Du Beke plus two guests - choose between the second and third-placed acts. Arguably more entertaining than the Red Nose Day telethon itself, and it quite rightly hammered The Colour of Money in the ratings too.
The show became an annual event up to and including 2013 (the 2010 and 2012 series being for Sport Relief), though Du Beke did not continue beyond 2009 and instead there were three guest judges each week. After a four-year break, the show returned in 2017 as Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief, with Mel and Sue on hosting duties.
